for the Commons

OPEN:IDEAS begins from a simple belief: knowledge should be free. Education does not need tuition fees, credentials, or gatekeepers — it can be shared openly, organized collectively, and carried in common.

We create courses and zines using resources already available online, arranging them into accessible paths of study for anyone who wants to learn. The first course — Foundations of Post-Capitalist Thought — is now available. It is part of the six-course program Designing Post-Capitalist Societies, which will be released gradually.

OPEN:IDEAS is not an institution. It is a commons: a space for learning, reflection, and conversation about building different futures.
